On Monday, I got a note from Alex to say we were both in the Irish Independent! We’re both talking about our love of DIY and upcycling projects, and the reporter calls it a “young age pensioner” movement, which I think is quite funny. In Ireland, old age pensioners (or OAPs) are what retired people are called, so the article talks about young women who are taking up old person hobbies.
I got to talk a little bit about why I started DIYing with a vengeance when I moved to Dublin almost five years ago – and I got to share yet another sneak peek of our bedroom makeover!

If I recall correctly, you could be a bit yappy in 5th and 6th grade, so perhaps the name fits 🙂 So glad you are finding your niche! I knew you were destined for great things!
