We found a great deal for to stay in an apartment while we’re in Spain. Well, to be fair, I didn’t have anything to do with it. Since we got married, Michael has booked all the flights, arranged hotels, and found all the good tourist spots everywhere we’ve gone.
It’s the strangest thing, especially since I used to travel so much on my own before I got married. But when I get to the airport now, I shut off. It is awesome. And all I have to do is be in charge of snacks!
Theoretically, this would give me loads of time to look extra chic when I travel. Theoretically I look just like these chic ladies when I arrive at the airport.

Since that is really not the case, that means I have exactly four days to perfect the airport chic look. Stunning flats, statement bag, no big deal.
How do you travel? Do you make the plans or do you bring the snacks? Do you wear sweats or heels?

I should show this post to my husband – in our house I’m the one that does ALL of the organising for the holidays! To be fair to him I kind of enjoy it, but you know sometimes it would be nice to just switch of and not do any of the organising! Have a great time in Spain, it will be lovely for you to get some much needed sun since it’s so shy of appearing here in Ireland this summer x
Hahaha, I so hear you on this – I come from a long line of women to whom tracksuit pants, runners and vest tops are for hiding out in at home, certainly not for public consumption at an airport. I always like to dress up just a teensy bit when flying – it’s a little nod to pre-Ryanair times, when flying was both glamorous and – can you imagine? – enjoyable! Plus, I usually HAVE to wear the heels, as they’re too high to fit into my bag 😉
